Mission for Tribes and Nations
Who are we?
Mission for Tribes and Nations (MfTN) is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Lubbock, Texas, USA. It was officially registered in 2017, with Pastor Ruben Rasaili (Basnet) serving as president on the board of directors.
The ministry began in Nepal in 2008, founded by Pastor Ruben Rasaili (Basnet) with a clear vision: to reach every unreached tribe with the gospel in South Asia and to plant churches where people can worship in their own local languages. Since its inception, MfTN has planted 137 Smyrna Churches across Nepal and North India. Pastor Ruben’s heart is to reach Nepalese scattered all around the world and preach the gospel to them.
The central office is located in Kathmandu, Nepal, with additional international offices in the USA (operated by D. Ridley), India (led by Bindu Kumar), and the UK (led by L. Wilson).

One of the primary missions of the Church is to reach the most unreached people groups. The problem is not that these people are rejecting the gospel, but that the Church has often neglected to go to them and share it. As a result, even after more than 2,000 years, the gospel has still not reached many parts of the world.

EVERY CHILD EVERY DAY PROGRAM
We provide one hot meal every day to more than 600 students across three schools in Nepal, including those at Innovative Academy.
Our Major Activities
Fighting against human trafficking
Every year, a criminal network coerces approximately 30,000 girls aged 12 to 18 into the sex industry in Nepal and India. Nepal serves as a transit country due to its open border with India, where individuals from any nation can obtain a visa upon arrival.
Drilling Water wells

Remote & tribal villages in Nepal, especially at the border sides of Nepal and India, have no access to clean water. They are compelled to consume arsenic-contaminated pond water, which contributes to the deaths of children and elderly individuals due to waterborne illnesses.
master's commission
(bible school)
We run “Master’s Commission—5-month” missionary & church planting training in Nepal with a goal to produce well-equipped ministers of the gospel. Every year, 50 people are trained & sent to plant churches.
