In 2018, Pastor R. Rasaili founded “Innovative Academy” in the Sarlahi district of eastern Nepal. In its first year, the academy offered free admission to 496 children, including those who were helpless, disabled, orphaned, or from marginalized communities like the DALIT, who are considered untouchable in Hindu society, and some from Muslim backgrounds. The academy’s mission is to provide an English education to these marginalized and DALIT children—an opportunity they could never have imagined. 

In addition to the school, Innovative operates an orphanage that currently cares for 32 children. However, the vision for the orphanage is to eventually adopt and care for over 200 orphans, all within the love of Jesus Christ. Each week, the Innovative office receives calls from churches and local government authorities from all over Nepal, seeing adoption for orphans and street kids. The vision can only be achieved through the adoption (sponsors) of friends and partners. Sponsoring a child costs just USD 50.00 per month, which covers all expenses, including food, educational materials, emergency medical treatment, and extra expenses incurred.
